We understand that surgical appointments can be a source of significant anxiety for patients. Please rest assured that we will do our utmost to make you as comfortable as possible during and after the procedure. There should be no discomfort during the procedure. Modern anesthetics are profound and long lasting. We use strong topical anesthetics and a computerized anesthetic delivery system to help minimize any discomfort associated with the delivery of anesthesia. Relaxation during the procedure can be enhanced by the use of Nitrous Oxide sedation (Laughing Gas) and/or oral sedation. Please call us ahead of time if an oral sedation prescription is needed. If you use an oral sedative you will need to be driven to and from our office by someone who is well acquainted with you.
We are always available to answer any questions you might have before, during, or after the procedure. We will go over your post-op instructions just prior to starting the procedure.
